SIGNATURE QUEENS
Any contestants wishing to gather signatures from family, friends, neighbors, & businesses may do so for $1 per signature. Signatures may contain good luck lines:
ex. “Good Luck Megan! We Love You! Nanna & Papa”
Signature pages may look any way you want and need to be camera ready for printing. Use printer paper to make your camera ready master sheets. Mail signature pages along with entry form and all monies collected. Queens will be recognized on stage and presented awards and gifts.
50 Signatures: Should all be on one page – Bronze Queens
100 Signatures: Should all be on two pages - Silver Queens
150 Signatures: Should be on three pages – Golden Queens
200 Signatures: Should be on four pages – Platinum Queens
SPOKESMODEL
Any contestant wishing to sell ads may vie for the WISE SPOKESMODEL title. This title will be given to the contestant selling the most ads. The winner will be recognized on stage and presented with awards and gifts. There will be one winner for the entire pageant. All ads should be camera ready for printing. Use printer paper to make your camera ready master sheets. Mail ad pages and all monies collected along with entry form.

AWARDS
There will be one winner and four runners-up in each grade division. The winner for the MISS WISE will receive a crown, trophy, banner, and sorority pin. In addition, she will win a $1000 scholarship to be awarded to her at the end of her reign. All runners-up in the Miss division will win trophies and scholarship money (amounts depend on the number of contestants).
Winners in all other grade divisions will receive a savings bonds, crowns, trophies, banners, sorority pins, gifts, and local and statewide recognition. All runners-up will receive trophies and gifts. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE TROPHIES. We believe in awarding courage and self-esteem.
Winners of optional categories such as, photogenic, best personality, and prettiest events will win trophies. There will be one winner for each category in each grade division.
Signature queens will win prizes according to their achievements. The trophies and crowns grow as the number of signatures increases.
There will be only one WISE Spokesmodel. She will be the contestant selling the most ads. She will be awarded with a crown, trophy, banner, and gifts.

Pageant Rules & Regulations
1. Contestants will compete in the division they were crowned for. Grade divisions only, no age divisions.
2. If for some reason a reigning queen opts not to participate in the state pageant, the next viable person would be 1st runner up. If none of the alternates are able to compete in the state pageant, the pageant coordinator from the school has the right to choose an appropriate representative.
3. Contestants themselves, family, friends, or businesses may sponsor contestants.
4. The purpose of the WISE pageant program is to offer educational opportunities to young women. In return, we wish for our queens to a) stay in school, b) make at least 3 approved and verified appearances promoting the pageant, c) return to the state pageant to crown the successor.
5. The directors must approve all appearances. When making appearances, queens must always dress tastefully and be accessorized by their crown, banner, and sorority pin.
6. Any unsportsmanlike or distasteful behavior will result in a state queen loosing her crown. All queens must maintain good moral character.
7. All scholarship money and savings bonds will be awarded at the end of the reign, when all obligations have been met: a) staying in school, b) making at least 3 approved and verified appearances promoting the pageant, c) returning to the state pageant to crown the successor.
8. Contestants must have never been married, ever pregnant nor had a baby, or ever been convicted of a crime. Queens may not become married, pregnant, or convicted of a crime during their reign.
9. No refunds of applications fees at any time unless pageant is cancelled.
10. There will be a $40 services charge for all returned checks. Any checks not picked up within 30 days will be turned over to a collection agency.
11. Any unsportsmanlike behavior from contestants or their families will result is disqualification.
12. Judging will be based on the following:
· Preschool through eighth grade: beauty, poise, personality, projection, and overall appearance
· Ninth through twelfth grade: Interview 50%, On stage introduction of herself 25%, and evening gown (beauty, poise, personality, projection, & overall appearance) 25%
13. Contestants will receive an interview study sheet before the pageant date.
14. Once a contestant wins the state pageant, she cannot represent the same age division again. (ex. If a contestant wins the Miss Division in the ninth grade, she may not compete again.)
I have read and understand all of the rules and regulations set forth by the directors of the WISE pageant program. I hereby certify that the pageant directors, facility or anyone associated with this pageant is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, theft, or loss to and from the pageant and related events. Judges decisions are final.
